Onboarding buyers and owners

What is the stage-2 questionnaire, and when does the buyer receive it?

The stage-2 questionnaire gathers the information that goes beyond establishing identity — source of funds in particular. It is a step of its own and is sent as its own link, not together with the identity check.

There is a practical reason for that: the two steps often happen at different times, and the questionnaire is only requested once the case calls for it.

There are two routes:

  • “Request stage 2 questionnaire” sends it by email. Before sending you can set the recipient, language, subject and your own covering text; the section carrying the link and the legal notice is a fixed part and goes out unchanged.
  • “Fill in on site” instead produces a link valid for 24 hours for the client's own device — useful when they are in the office anyway.

Doxario records whether the questionnaire is out and whether it has been answered. That information counts as check detail and is therefore reserved to property management — as an agent you see the neutral note that something is outstanding on the case instead.
